HEADLINER

I was so excited the last few weeks in preparing for my first show as headliner. It was a great experience and I got some great feedback. I love to perform and had some great musicians with me. Thanks to all who showed up and supported me in this endeavor.

There will be MANY more shows and songs to come in the future.

Inspirational music, singing and songwriting

The Annual Jenny Phillips LDS Music Industry Workshop took place on Saturday, August 8,2009 at Thanksgiving Point

in Utah. People came from all across the United States to attend, with the furthest attendee from Quatar (or South Africa if you count me but I am living in Utah at present, so did not include myself ).

This covered many areas of the music industry from creating and submitting demos, to songswriting and singing techniques,

to singing learning from top LDS musician themselves. Performances and interaction occured with artists such as Alex Boye, Hilary Weeks, Mindy Gledhill, Jenny Phillips and Tyler Castelton.

Attendees were able to have many Q & A sessions, receive song critiques and hear from these experinced professional

musicians. The cost was $99 and there was also an oppertunity to enter a singing compatition to record on the next
