The GIRL EFFECT & Gifts the KEEP GIVING!
I have spent some time now thinking about how we waste money on giving gifts on holidays and birthdays that are often only temporarily used or appreciated. And then today after watching the new GIRL EFFECT video:
I found a link on their site, where you can buy a gift that KEEPS GIVING! A gift card that has the receiver choses where the gift goes. There are hundreds of ideas from helping fund a year of a girls school, to helping purchase chickens or products for the girl to have a business. I think it is such an awesome idea I am gonna start doing it!!! :)
